We are all familiar with the name of the virus. There have been many epidemics in the ages due to the virus. But The Virus is more Dangerous than You Think.

What is virus?

Virus is a Latin word that literally means 'toxic'. A virus is a type of tiny organic particle or microorganism that can only reproduce inside a living cell. There is a difference of opinion among scientists about the virus. Some say it is an organism. Some say it is not an organism. In 1576, Carolus Clusius first gave the idea of the virus.

Epidemic history of the virus!

There have been countless epidemics in the world over the ages, billions of people have died.

GLANDULAR PLAGUE

Between 1346 and 1353, a worldwide epidemic killed 75 to 200 million people in Europe and Asia. According to one department, the disease was a type of glandular plague.

The other part claims that this terrible epidemic was caused by the Ebola virus. Rats were the main carriers of this disease.

EBOLA

The Ebola virus was discovered in 1976. The death toll from the deadly Ebola virus is about 50 percent.  In 2014 and 2016, at least 11,000 people died in a major outbreak in Central Africa. Death is inevitable in most cases if infected with the Ebola virus. No cure or vaccine for this disease has been discovered so far. But recent FDA approved a vaccine to prevent Ebola virus.

DISEASE X

The World Health Organization has added the name of the new mysterious disease 'Disease X' to its list of diseases that can cause epidemics worldwide. Disease X is not the name of a disease. As the name on the list explains, Disease X is a disease that is still unknown to mankind but could turn into an international epidemic.

MERS

MERS is a virus of the same genus SARS. The virus was first discovered in Saudi Arabia in 2012, and 35 percent of those infected died there. This disease is called Middle East Respiratory Syndrome or MERS for short. In addition to Saudi Arabia, its presence has been noticed in several Middle Eastern countries such as Oman, United Arab Emirates, Egypt. The virus is thought to have affected by camels.

SARS

SARS means severe acute respiratory. At first, SARS found in China. Scientists say the virus came from cats. However, it is also related to bats. Outbreaks appeared twice between 2002 and 2004. Of the more than 8,000 victims, 774 died.

AIDS

HIV infection causes AIDS in the human body. Basically, AIDS is not a disease, it is a combination of various diseases caused by a lack of immunity. The HIV virus destroys the human body's immune system, resulting in various infectious diseases and some types of cancer. Some people in very few parts of the world have genetic defects in their bodies that prevent them from successfully transmitting the AIDS virus.

The next epidemics

We should be prepared for bad times. The next pandemic virus could come into us from any wildlife. We probably don't know anything about that virus. To be aware of this, scientists are studying the virus in animals.

But since we live in a virus-ridden world, this task is quite difficult. Ian Lipkin of Columbia University caught 133 rats in New York City and discovered 15 to 20 types of viruses. Recent scientists are found 6 types of new corona virus in bats. There are a lot of unknown viruses in every animal. This is must be a threat to the human.

Patients who have died of corona virus

In 2020 corona virus is the most frightening reason.  Corona virus first detected in Wuhan city, Hubei Province of China. In the attack of COVID-19( coronavirus) already attack 2.79 million people and already died 196k people. That increasing day by day.

Experts are trying to discover the vaccine of COVID-19. But no one knows how long it will take to discover this vaccine. So we have to follow the WHO suggestions.
